Project Budget Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Budget Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing project budgets, as well as providing financial planning and analysis support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Develop and manage project budgets, including preparing annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts.
  • Accountability: Take ownership of project invoicing, tax issues, bonds, and guarantees, as well as financial accounting and reporting.
  • Opportunity/Risk Identification: Participate in opportunity/risk identification and ensure timely implementation of required mitigation actions.
  • Project Reviews: Drive, coordinate, and prepare monthly project reviews jointly with PM/Central Controller/PSCM.
  • Commercial Awareness: Promote commercial awareness in the project team and provide commercial input to the project execution plan.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and control site expenses, weekly reporting of project expenses in a specified format, and reconciliation of SAP entries with invoices.
  • Issue Resolution: Analyze actual vs. budget costs and revenue on the project, highlight potential issues to the controller manager and project managers, and lead the activity of project actualisation at HO defined frequency.
Requirements
  • Educational Qualification: MBA Finance/CA-Inter/ICWA.
  • Work Experience: Total experience of 6 to 10 years.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, well-versed with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, strong follow-up skills, go-getter approach, basic knowledge of SAP, high sense of responsibility, commitment, and effective communication.
