Financial Manager Role Summary:

  • Responsible for the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports to facilitate informed business decisions.
  • Comply with relevant accounting standards and company policies to maintain a high level of corporate governance.
  • Reports Management
  • Identify and validate cost-saving opportunities to contribute to the organization's profitability.
  • Monitor and control plant expenditures to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of cost structures to identify areas for reduction and implement effective cost control measures.
  • Manage export turnover, profitability, and variance analysis to inform business strategies.
  • Update export pricing master data to reflect changing market conditions.
  • Perform gross margin variance analysis to optimize pricing and inventory management.
  • Investigate procurement prices and batch costs to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Generate yield reports for the factory and TPU to inform production planning.
  • Create capacity utilization reports to optimize production efficiency.
  • Coordinate completion of various reconciliations for Cost audit to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee material procurement and processing to ensure timely delivery and optimal quality.
  • Review production orders at multiple locations to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare variance by price and volume to inform business decisions.
  • Develop cost sheets using process costing to provide detailed insights into production costs.
  • Improve cost tracking and overhead allocation through Activity-Based costing to enhance decision-making.
  • Perform inventory valuation according to procedure, conduct factory and warehouse audits to ensure accurate records.
  • Assess slow-moving inventory to inform inventory management strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and audit requirements to ensure a high level of corporate governance.
  • Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage plant audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • ICWA Qualified or Semi-qualified / CMA Semi-Qualified - 5 years of experience in Costing
  • Experience in Plant Accounting
  • Data Handling and Process Handling
  • Team Handling experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Detail-oriented and analytical skills.
