Chief Legal Advisor – Intellectual Property

Seeking a seasoned legal expert to lead and manage key Intellectual Property matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end Intellectual Property Rights matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs.
- Advise clients on IP strategy, protection, enforcement, and commercialization.
- Draft, review, and file IP applications (national & international), oppositions, assignments, and licensing agreements.
- Represent clients in Intellectual Property Rights litigation and enforcement actions.
- Conduct IP due diligence, freedom to operate analysis, and infringement analysis.
- Liaise with external counsels and international associates for cross-border Intellectual Property matters.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring knowledge development and quality delivery.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, legal amendments, and case laws related to Intellectual Property Rights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law. Registered Patent Agent is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Intellectual Property law, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal team.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, and research skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-handling abilities.
- Proven track record in managing complex Intellectual Property portfolios and high-stakes litigation.
