Project Field Assistant

This role plays a vital part in the successful execution of an investigation into two key areas: the association between long-term ambient air pollution exposure and anaemia among women of reproductive age in India, and how this relationship may be moderated by fruit and vegetable intake using secondary data.

  • The project aims to evaluate the effect modification by antioxidant and anti-inflammatory nutrients on the association between long-term PM2.5 exposure and anaemia among adolescent girls aged 18-25 years.
Key Responsibilities

As a field assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Field Data Collection: Conduct surveys, interviews, and observational assessments using structured tools to gather accurate and high-quality field data.
  • Project Implementation Support: Assist in the on-ground execution of project activities, including participant coordination, logistics, and adherence to data collection protocols.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain effective communication with local stakeholders, community leaders, and participants to facilitate smooth project operations.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily records of field activities and provide regular updates to the project team, ensuring timely reporting of any challenges.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Any graduate degree in social sciences, life sciences, public health, or related fields.
  • Experience in community-based fieldwork or data collection activities.
