Supply Chain Management Role

This is a challenging role that requires an experienced professional to manage the supply chain functions of an organization.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective supply chain management strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Purchase Order (PO) Generation & Vendor Management:
    • Generate purchase orders and ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
    • Evaluate and register vendors, negotiating terms for optimal commercial benefits.
  • Material Dispatch & Logistics:
    • Coordinate smooth and timely material dispatches in line with customer requirements and project deadlines.
    • Maintain cost-effectiveness and efficiency in logistics activities, adhering to E-way bills and challans.
  • Material & Inventory Management:
    • Oversee material planning, stocking, and distribution to avoid shortages or overstocking.
    • Regularly review stock reports for accurate inventory tracking.
  • Invoicing & Documentation:
    • Oversee vendor invoicing, documentation, and payment processing with accuracy and timeliness.
  • MIS & Reporting:
    • Generate SCM-related MIS reports for management review and decision-making.
    • Analyze stock reports, logistics data, and vendor performance metrics to enhance efficiency.
  • Team Leadership & Process Improvement:
    • Lead and mentor the SCM team to achieve organizational goals.
    • Drive process improvements to optimize cost, efficiency, and turnaround time.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Electricals or Electronics required.
  • Experience:Up to 20 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in manufacturing, EPC, or engineering industries.
  • Strong expertise in procurement, negotiation, vendor registration, logistics, inventory, and invoicing.
  • Familiarity with E-way bills, challans, MIS reporting, and stock management.
  • Proficiency in ERP/SCM software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Effective leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
