Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to optimize our purchasing processes and ensure timely access to high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement cycle from requisition to delivery, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with teams to maintain optimal stock while reducing carrying costs through effective stock management strategies.
  • Pursue cost-saving initiatives by optimizing purchasing operations, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, and evaluating potential new suppliers to enhance the procurement process.
  • Support cross-functional teams in the development and launch of new products, providing expert procurement insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on quick turnaround time, cost efficiency, and long-term supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure all procured products meet required standards and specifications, maintaining a culture of excellence throughout the organization.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks through proactive monitoring and analysis, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably within an industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective vendor relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and driving business growth.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on results-driven solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
