Textile Designer Position

We are seeking a talented Textile Designer to join our in-house design team.

  • This role involves developing creative and trend-forward print designs for bedsheets and other home furnishing categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design commercial prints for the retail market.
  2. Work with merchandising and sourcing teams to align design output with product planning and timelines.
  3. Coordinate with production and vendors to ensure quality and accuracy in sampling and final output.
  4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to drive innovation in design.
  5. Prepare presentations and approvals, including mood boards, color palettes, CADs, and print repeats.
  6. Contribute to seasonal collection planning and visual merchandising inputs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in textile/print design, preferably in an export house.
  • Expertise in bedsheet design and familiarity with both soft and hard furnishings.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.
  • Strong design sensibility with an eye for detail, color, and composition.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple stakeholders.
