Visual Merchandising Professional

A successful Visual Merchandiser is responsible for crafting a captivating and engaging visual merchandising strategy that drives sales and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a yearly visual merchandising calendar aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Design and implement store windows, focal points, and material displays to highlight key products, themes, or promotions.
  • Sources and orders VM and styling props.
  • Adapt window displays across region stores as per the calendar.
  • Researches lifestyle, demographics, and design trends.
  • Maintains and manages store upkeep.

Styling Expertise:

  • Styles experience centers of the brand.
  • Styles homes designed by Livspace for photo and video shoots.
  • Shop online/offline for products and props to style customers' homes.
  • Manages and coordinates between photographers, interior designers, and marketing teams.
  • Inventory management of styling products and props.
  • Schedules and manages photo/video shoots with multiple people involved, including the customer.
  • Culls pictures for editing.
  • Styles 3D rendered images.

Vendor Management:

  • Acquires and compares quotations from vendors to ensure quality products at the least possible price.
  • Follows up with vendors to ensure execution of windows and other areas within the specified schedule.
  • Ensures payment to the respective vendors and follows up on billing processes weekly.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Monitors the budget for Visual Merchandising and highlights any deviations.
  • Operates & achieves the VM spent as per budgets.
  • Submits bills on time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, interior design, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably 4-6 years in home interior or home furnishing industry.
  • Strong creative and design skills.
  • Proficiency in sketch-up or 3D max software and other relevant design tools.
  • Knowledge of Home interiors and styling.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
