Aerodome Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Team Lead

The ARFF Team Lead will oversee the Aerodome Rescue and Firefighting services at airports in India. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in airport operations, with a strong understanding of fire safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and leadership skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the ARFF team to ensure round-the-clock readiness for emergency response
  • Develop and implement ARFF operational procedures and protocols in compliance with local and international aviation safety standards
  • Conduct regular training and drills for the ARFF team to maintain peak performance and readiness
  • Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, and emergency services for seamless emergency response and mutual aid
  • Oversee the maintenance and readiness of ARFF vehicles, equipment, and firefighting systems
  • Prepare and analyze incident reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to ARFF services
  • Participate in airport emergency exercises and provide expert guidance and leadership during simulated emergencies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Aviation Management, or related field
  • Advanced certifications in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF)
  • Valid ARFF certification from a recognized aviation authority
  • Valid certification in Fire Safety and Prevention
