Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, automating and executing unit and functional tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. They will also design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring robust and scalable backend services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing test automation frameworks for web applications and APIs using industry-standard tools and best practices.
  • Collaborating closely with development, QA and product teams to identify test requirements and implement effective test strategies.
  • Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code for test automation and API integration scripts.
  • Participating in code reviews, continuous integration and deployment processes to enhance development and testing workflows.
  • Analyzing test results, troubleshooting issues and providing timely feedback to improve product quality.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Deep expertise in C# including software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proven experience developing, automating and executing unit and functional tests.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and integration purposes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, xUnit or similar for C#; Pytest or others for Python.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and test lifecycle (STLC).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
  • Familiarity with database technologies and writing SQL queries.
