Corporate Legal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Legal Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in managing our legal and regulatory affairs, providing strategic guidance on commercial agreements, contracts, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on the negotiation, review, and closing of commercial agreements, including third-party contracts, service agreements, partnerships, and license agreements.
  • Support corporate legal matters with a solid understanding of Indian Companies Act, 2013, and related regulations.
  • Develop efficient processes for contract negotiation and management, including creating standard form agreements and legal databases.
  • Lead communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across stakeholders.
  • Engage proactively with regulatory bodies, providing policy advocacy support, and ensuring compliance with RBI, SEBI, FEMA, and other relevant frameworks.

Requirements:

  • A Law Graduate from a recognized university with 3-5 years post-qualification experience, preferably from a law firm.
  • Experience in fintech, banking, M&A, and/or general corporate legal matters is essential.
  • Candidates with prior exposure to debt transactions and the fintech/banking sector will be given preference.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks such as RBI guidelines for NBFCs, SEBI, FEMA, and Companies Act compliance.
