Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Wealth Underwriter to participate in the underwriting process of high-net-worth portfolio management initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage in low to moderately complex underwriting activities in support of wealth portfolio management;
  • Analyze opportunities for process improvement within your scope of responsibilities
  • Evaluate borrower financial data to determine credit worthiness for basic high-net-worth client loans that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives;
  • Exercise independent judgement to monitor existing portfolios and identify medium risk issues;
  • Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in Wealth Underwriting functional area policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements;
  • Develop a basic understanding of Home Lending policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements for Wealth Investment Management client mortgages as needed;
  • Collaborate and consult with Wealth Underwriting peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals;
  • Ensure satisfactory credit portfolio risk examinations by adhering to credit risk management decisions.
