High Net Worth Tax Specialist

We are seeking a skilled tax professional to join our team in providing high-quality services to high-net-worth families, closely held businesses, estates, trusts, and private foundations.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in business taxation, with a focus on U.S. tax returns and workpapers.
- Possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies in client documentation and reconcile amounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare U.S. tax returns, including Form 1040, Form 1041, Multi-State Returns, Partnership Form 1065, and S-Corporation Form 1120S.
- Stay up-to-date on tax legislation relevant to Private Client Service clients.
- Work closely with internal teams to answer questions or collect necessary information for tax service requirements.
- Ensure all checklists and controls are completed.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in business taxation working for a Big 4 or a large national, regional, or U.S.-based public accounting firm.
- Bachelor's degree and master's degree in accounting (B.Com/BBA, MBA/M.Com).
- Experience preparing workpapers and U.S. tax returns.
- English proficiency - oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EA/CPA is preferred.
