Leading Health Safety and Environment Professional

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive health, safety, and environment (HSE) strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectives.
This role involves:
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable Acts, HSE regulations, standards, and permits.
- Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implementing appropriate control measures.
- Investigating and analysing incidents to determine root causes, implementing corrective actions, and preventing recurrence.
- Developing and maintaining emergency response plans, conducting regular drills, and ensuring the organization is prepared to handle emergencies effectively.
- Developing and delivering HSE training programs to employees at all levels.
- Tracking and reporting on key HSE performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- A bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a metal & mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of Factory Act, Environmental guidelines, HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
