Job Description

This project aims to investigate the relationship between long-term exposure to ambient air pollution (PM2.5) and anaemia among women of reproductive age in India.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research and Development Associate to lead this project and contribute to the advancement of our understanding of environmental health impacts.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a science discipline and minimum 2 years of experience in conducting research and implementing field-based projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Applying both quantitative and qualitative research methods throughout the lifecycle of the study
  • Developing and executing the field implementation plan for effective and timely data collection across sites
  • Designing data collection tools such as questionnaires; preparing and delivering training sessions for data collectors and field teams
  • Liaising with laboratory teams for timely collection, processing, and analysis of biological samples
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a science discipline (e.g., Public Health, Nutrition, Epidemiology, Environmental Science)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting research and implementing field-based projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
