The role of a Strategic Account Manager involves overseeing the growth and scaling of eCommerce marketplace businesses across various platforms.
This position requires a senior-level client-facing professional who can manage and execute strategies to drive revenue and achieve operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with retail marketplace tools, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, platform stakeholders, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Marketplace Strategy & Execution: Define goals around GMV, profitability, and channel diversification with clients.
- Performance Optimization: Track and optimize KPIs like Sell-Through Rate (STR), fulfillment lead times, and pricing effectiveness.
Data-Driven Insights & Reporting: Deliver regular performance updates and dashboards on GMV, operational health, and ad efficiency.
Account Growth & Renewal Management: Identify upsell opportunities and lead conversations on new marketplaces, ad tools, or catalog expansion.
Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, along with 3–9 years of experience managing eCommerce marketplace accounts.
Strong analytical skills, ability to translate data into clear strategies and recommendations, and excellent client communication abilities are essential.
