Job Description

Develop your expertise in IT General Controls and Cyber Risk Management as a Cyber Risk Associate at our esteemed organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, leveraging your skills to drive operational excellence.

The role involves assessing, designing, and implementing ITGC requirements, reviewing control evidence for accuracy, completeness, and precision, and testing controls for new acquisitions and in-scope entities. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality, consistency, and operability of new and existing controls.

As a Cyber Risk Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing the assessment, design, and implementation of ITGC requirements.
  • Reviewing and analyzing control evidence for adherence to accuracy, completeness, and precision of control execution for all ITGC.
  • Testing controls for new acquisitions and in-scope entities.
  • Collaborating with control owners and operators to ensure quality, consistency, and operability of new and existing controls.

You will work closely with key stakeholders in a fast-paced and matrixed work environment, building long-term relationships and identifying test findings and control gaps. Your ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and external contacts/auditors will be essential in this role.

We are looking for candidates with strong analytical thinking and communication skills, including the ability to research and understand complex processes and effectively communicate them to interested parties. A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field is required. Experience in auditing financial applications, cyber security practices, privacy, and various infrastructure platforms is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT General Controls, automated and security controls.
  • Knowledge of security measures and auditing practices within various operating systems, databases, and applications.
  • Experience in auditing financial applications, cyber security practices, privacy, and various infrastructure platforms.
  • Functional knowledge of major ERP suites (like SAP, Dynamics, Oracle EBS).
