Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulics Specialist to fill a critical role in our organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in civil engineering, particularly in hydraulics and water resources engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and preparing technical documents for irrigation infrastructure such as dams, barrages, micro-irrigation systems, canal networks, and related hydraulic structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Hydraulic Systems: Dams, Barrages, Weirs, Spillways, and Intake Systems using standard engineering codes and software.
  • Develop Irrigation System Designs: Pipe Network Plans and Hydraulic Profiles for efficient water distribution.
  • Prepare Hydraulic Models: Flow Calculations and Hydraulic Grade Line Diagrams for irrigation and water management projects.
  • Produce Technical Drawings: BOQs and Technical Specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design tools.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Survey, GIS, and Geotechnical Teams for integrated designs.
  • Prepare Project Reports: Detailed Project Documents.
  • Client Meetings and Site Visits: Review Discussions with Stakeholders.
  • 5-7 Years of Experience: Design and Drawing of Dams, Barrages, Canals, Micro-Irrigation Systems, and Related Structures.
  • Strong Understanding: Hydraulic Principles, Irrigation Techniques, Flow Analysis, and Pipe Hydraulics.
  • Familiarity: WRD, CWC, Government Guidelines, and State Irrigation Department Practices.
  • Excellent Skills: Technical Documentation, Report Writing, and Communication.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water Gem, or similar hydraulic modelling tools.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering.
