Senior Business Analyst & Project Manager Role
We seek a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with strong Project Management skills and experience in accounting/finance, accounting systems, data integrations, and report development. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of accounting platforms, preferably Sage Intacct, Netsuite, SAP, or Oracle Financials, as well as deep understanding of accounting data integrations to/from other systems.
This role requires a self-starter who possesses a skillset in learning new technologies, and with a keen interest in researching and finding solutions to difficult business problems. Proficiency in learning new applications and back-end data models is necessary for this position.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with offshore teams, manage a clear communication channel, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. They should also have prior experience leading teams, managing customers, and delivering beyond client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams to troubleshoot and solve complex accounting issues
- Understand integration and reporting requirements for various applications and connection points
- Work closely with the development team to fix technical issues for existing functionality
- Design and implement new integrations and other technical components for accounting needs
- Document business problems and requirements
- Research and find technical solutions to meet customer demands
- Document business and technical specifications for the development team
- Develop schedules, timelines, and deadlines for deliverables and discuss with business and development teams
- Manage the entire development life cycle, track progress, and milestones
- Test and validate the final product
- Collaborate with business teams to test new products and confirm requirements are met
- Oversee product deployment
- Lead meetings and present to large groups
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in either Accounting or Computer Science
- 8+ years in a Business Analyst role, 10+ years preferred
- 8+ years in Enterprise applications - ERP/Accounting (Sage Intacct), HR, CRM (Salesforce)
- 5+ years in integration development, platforms such as Tray.io, Zapier preferred
- 2+ years in Project management
- Experience working with offshore teams and ability to manage a clear communication channel
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Prior experience presenting status to senior leadership
- Experience managing customer expectations, and addressing escalations
- People skills with proven ability to drive teams to success
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
