Real Estate Acquisition Specialist

An exciting opportunity exists for an Underwriting Analyst to play a pivotal role in the Investments team. This key position will oversee investment strategy and asset management for a $15bn real estate portfolio, working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on streamlining high-impact projects and decisions.
Main Responsibilities:- Identify and assess potential investment opportunities using market comparables to determine accurate rent, value, and initial bid price for single-family assets
- Underwrite each piece of property build including rent, capex, HOA, property taxes, and as-repaired values with high accuracy
- Participate in the acquisition of single-family homes by tracking assets through various phases of the deal lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree required; specialty focus in Real Estate or Finance a plus
- 3+ years of relevant experience in underwriting, brokerage, or other real estate disciplines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Top-ranked performer with a track record of success (academic, professional)
- Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with internal and external professionals
