Market Access Expert Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead market access initiatives, ensuring optimal product value realization in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Develop and execute strategic market access plans to secure favorable pricing, reimbursement, and patient access for pharmaceutical products.
  • Analyze market trends, payer requirements, and healthcare policy developments to inform evidence-based decision making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory, to generate robust data supporting product value.
  • Negotiate with payers, government bodies, and healthcare authorities to establish reimbursement strategies, pricing, and access conditions.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive dossiers, value documents, pricing applications, and HTA submissions.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to proactively adapt market access strategies.
  • Provide expert insights and recommendations to support product launch planning and lifecycle management.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, thought leaders, industry organizations, and internal teams.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or related functions within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Proven understanding of healthcare systems, pricing pathways, HTA processes, and payer dynamics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing market access strategies, preparing comprehensive dossiers, and engaging with payers.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
