Job Overview

The Senior Accounting position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring timely reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Finance team and other internal departments with complex accounting matters.
  • Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reconciliations and financial reporting.

Accounting Operations

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

Taxation and Compliance

  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.).
  • Handle TDS/TCS compliance and return filings.

Financial Reporting and Budgeting

  • Prepare monthly Management Information Systems reports, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets.
  • Develop monthly budgets in coordination with business requirements.

Banking and Treasury

  • Reconcile bank accounts and manage banking transactions.

Additional Duties

  • Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
