Job Description

This role leads the organization-wide strategic and operational Learning & Development (L&D) function, driving organizational capability, leadership development, and talent readiness.

The L&D strategy will be aligned with business transformation and growth. This includes establishing Management Development Centres and Assessment Centres for leadership pipeline development.

A strong focus is on building organizational capabilities across technical, behavioral, and leadership domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Design and implement a pan-India L&D strategy aligned with business goals.
    • Establish and operationalize Management Development Centers and Assessment Centers for leadership pipeline development.
    • Drive organizational capability building across technical, behavioral, and leadership domains.
  • Talent & Leadership Development:
    • Develop and execute succession planning frameworks and high-potential talent programs.
    • Create customized learning journeys for different employee segments.
    • Lead executive coaching, mentoring, and career pathing initiatives.
  • Learning Infrastructure & Innovation:
    • Integrate digital learning platforms across locations.
    • Promote blended learning models including e-learning, workshops, simulations, and on-the-job training.
    • Leverage AI and analytics for learning impact measurement and personalization.
  • Stakeholder & Change Management:
    • Collaborate with plant heads, functional leaders, and HRBPs to identify learning needs and deploy solutions.
    • Act as a change agent for cultural transformation and continuous learning.
    • Manage external partnerships with universities, consultants, and tech providers.
  • Governance & ROI:
    • Define KPIs for learning effectiveness and report outcomes to senior leadership.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory and industry-specific training mandates.
