Role Overview:

Ekya Schools seeks a seasoned financial leader to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Financial Planning:

Leadership of the annual budgeting process, collaboration with department heads for alignment with company objectives and financial targets.

  • Financial Management & Analysis:

Oversight of financial statements and reports preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Accounting & Compliance:

Management of day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll, ensuring timely tax filings and adherence to laws and standards.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

Development and maintenance of financial models to support budgeting, forecasting efforts, and strategic planning initiatives.

Identification and mitigation of potential financial risks and opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, 4-5 years' experience in financial management and accounting, knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and financial reporting requirements.
