Our organization is seeking an IT Engineer to provide technical support and maintain reliable operations for a fast-growing startup.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues across different time zones.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Support & Troubleshooting
  • Provide remote assistance for employees' hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning laptops, accounts, and tools.
  • Maintain documentation for IT support procedures.
  • Systems Administration
  • Manage user accounts and permissions across various tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Zoom, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Monitor system access and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Support VPN, endpoint security, and multi-factor authentication setup.
  • Network & Security Management
  • Implement robust IT security practices to protect sensitive data.
  • Perform regular audits of access controls, patches, and updates.
  • Respond to IT security incidents and escalate as needed.
  • Process Improvement & Global Collaboration
  • Suggest and implement improvements in IT processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support remote deployments and field devices when needed.
  • Provide overlapping coverage with global hours for cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 3+ years of IT support, systems administration, or similar experience.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, as well as experience with Google Workspace / Office 365 administration.

Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security best practices is also highly desirable.

Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across different time zones.
