Job Title: Senior Accounting Associate

\Role Summary

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for supporting the accounting department in producing accurate and timely financial statements.

\Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Prepare and record detailed AP, AR, and other general accounting transactions.\
  • Review and approve POs and invoices in our finance management system.\
  • Process weekly check runs for vendor payments.\
  • Initiate wire requests as necessary.\
  • Request and maintain W-9/W-8 information for vendors and record new vendor details into our system.\
  • Create necessary AP accrual journal entries and monthly deferral entries.\
  • Coordinate 1099 filings and assist with tax submissions.\
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, account reconciliations, and financial audit.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operational execution.\
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.\
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders.\
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency in data analysis.\
  • Knowledge of advanced accounting platforms and systems.\
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\
  • Ability to work under pressure with changing deadlines and responsibilities.\
  • Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.\
  • Highly organized, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.\
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, preferably with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
