About the Job
  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Math Libraries Engineer, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance math libraries for AI applications.
  • As a key member of our team, you will work closely with hardware and software developers to ensure seamless integration of our math libraries with our software stack.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in mathematics and computer science. You will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing high-performance math libraries for dense linear algebra, matrix operations, and other relevant mathematical functions.
  • Optimizing the performance of our AI math libraries to achieve hyper-optimized solutions.
  • Collaborating with hardware and software developers to ensure seamless integration of our math libraries with our software stack.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in developing high-performance math libraries, preferably for AI applications.
  • Experience with GPU or AI accelerator programming.
  • Familiarity with libraries for linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
  • Understanding of HW architecture and must be comfortable learning new hardware architecture 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with compiler technology fundamentals such as abstract syntax trees, control flows, data flow analysis, IR, and target lowering.
  • Knowledge of kernel fusion techniques.
  • Knowledge of assembly programming, low-level optimizations.
