The Role:

A Finance Consultant will be passionate about finance domain, eager to explore and learn new things based on business needs.

This role involves performing configurations using varied skillsets, coaching and analyzing work for new employees, incorporating work into overall projects, meeting with clients, and working with other colleagues to design systems and perform tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions that articulate business problems and deliver results
  • Adapt your communication style to meet the needs of each client while working with diverse teams
  • Obtain product certification to guide financial teams through the best approach forward
  • Use product knowledge to develop solution designs that help customers achieve their goals
  • Collaborate and work with teams from different geographies, asking for help and supporting when required
  • Deliver a defined scope of work, identify risks and issues, plan workload
  • Communicate regularly with project managers about configuration changes, schedule, and status
  • Assist peers by reviewing their deliverables from time to time
  • Execute unit test cases to verify changes done as part of requirements
  • Debug and resolve any issues encountered during testing
  • Document changes precisely for customer benefit
  • Adhere to project processes as defined by project managers
  • Help customers grow their knowledge and skills to manage their own solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master's degree in related areas is an advantage
  • Certified in Workday platform preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required
  • Be adaptable and flexible, working extended hours to meet deadlines should not be a concern
  • Learning agility to pick up and work on new domains as required by the business
  • Understand software process lifecycle

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years relevant work experience required
  • Certified on Workday Fin is preferred, certified in any other modules is an added advantage
  • Working knowledge on Workday will be preferred
