Cloud Optimization Specialist Opportunity

As a seasoned Cloud Optimization Specialist, you will collaborate with our team in optimizing the scalability, cost-effectiveness, and performance of our cloud-based architecture. This part-time role is ideal for professionals with extensive cloud expertise who can guide, implement, and optimize cloud usage while aligning with business agility and growth needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular reviews of cloud resource utilization (compute, storage, databases, etc.).
  • Optimize cloud spend while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement cost governance frameworks, tagging, and monitoring dashboards.
  • Advise on architecture improvements for high availability, security, and compliance.
  • Recommend and configure automation for DevOps pipelines.
  • Support scaling across global regions.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal engineering teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless).
  • Proven track record in cloud cost optimization and DevOps best practices.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services, including Azure Functions, containerization, and data management.
  • Familiarity with microservices, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD automation.
  • Experience working with startups or fast-growth environments preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
