Architectural Technology Lead - Scalable System Expertise

As a senior technology leader, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable system architectures that can handle high concurrency use cases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate product epics into modular service contracts, data flow diagrams, and scalable system components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of multi-tenant architectures and scalable systems
  • Develop architecture gap reports and propose solutions to address technical debt
  • Translate product epics into modular service contracts, data flow diagrams, and scalable system components
  • Collaborate with DevOps to design high-availability infrastructure and auto-scaling environments on AWS
  • Own CI/CD pipelines and schema migration strategies with an emphasis on zero-downtime deployments and one-click rollbacks

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience including 2+ years in an architecture or senior technical leadership role
  • Strong full-stack expertise with MERN stack MongoDB Express.js React.js Node.js
  • Demonstrated success in designing multi-tenant architectures and scalable systems handling 1,000+ requests per minute
  • Advanced proficiency in AWS including EC2 Lambda RDS IAM CloudFront and Cognito
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools GitHub Actions Jenkins Bitbucket Pipelines
  • Experience working with observability stacks like Datadog New Relic or OpenTelemetry

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with education platforms or SaaS tools for service businesses
  • Experience with event brokers such as Kafka NATS or RabbitMQ
  • Deep knowledge of schema design role-based access control and data migration in NoSQL environments
