Job Description

This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader.

As a Senior Observability Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting scalable and secure synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

You will lead Dynatrace APM adoption with standardized instrumentation and deployment models, define onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources, and integrate observability tooling to deliver unified insights.

You will evaluate emerging technologies, develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions, contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards, drive documentation and training, and collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect scalable synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Lead Dynatrace APM adoption and standardized instrumentation.
  • Define onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources.
  • Integrate observability tooling to deliver unified insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools is a plus.
