Cloud Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineering Expert to empower our engineering teams, improve the developer experience, and foster a software engineering culture.

  • Azure cloud-native services specialist with expertise in designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft enterprise landing zones, managed Kubernetes clusters, and developer tools.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, or similar tools.
  • Experienced in deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of networking architecture, including DNS, routing, subnet, NAT, CDN, load balancer, etc.
  • Familiarity with Azure AD, access management concepts such as AD groups, IAM, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure.
  • Drive DevOps, SecOps, and SRE practices in software engineering teams.
  • Provide baseline and building blocks of cloud environments using Azure.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-native solutions.
  • Hands-on experience as Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or similar roles coming from Software development or system administration background.
  • Experience with writing automation scripts/tools using Bash, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, or Go.
  • Understanding of Hub & Spoke architecture.
  • Good to have skills include hands-on experience on using multiple cloud services based on the use cases (preferably Azure or other cloud providers).

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with security concepts Azure RBAC, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure policies, Firewall, etc.
