Cloud Migration Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Migration Expert to help onboard and support customers using Managed OpenStack and Managed Kubernetes products.

This role is ideal for an individual with strong technical skills and experience in cloud migration, architecture, and infrastructure management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical onboarding process for customers, collaborating with customers to understand their infrastructure requirements, and designing optimal cloud-native solutions.

A key aspect of this role is providing expert guidance on the use of OpenStack, Kubernetes, and related cloud-native technologies.

In addition, the Cloud Migration Expert will lead and execute VMware to OpenStack migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions, minimal downtime, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Onboarding: Lead the technical onboarding process for customers using Managed OpenStack and Managed Kubernetes.
  • Infrastructure Requirements: Collaborate with customers to understand their infrastructure requirements and design optimal cloud-native solutions.
  • Expert Guidance: Provide expert guidance on the use of OpenStack, Kubernetes, and related cloud-native technologies.
  • Migration Projects: Lead and execute VMware to OpenStack migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions, minimal downtime, and optimal performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Cloud-Native Technologies: Deep knowledge of managing, deploying, and scaling cloud-native infrastructure technologies.
  • Kubernetes Expertise: Expertise in Kubernetes, including deployments, operations, and optimizations.
  • OpenStack Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with OpenStack, including deployments, operations, and optimizations.
  • Automation Skills: Proficiency in writing automation scripts to streamline operational tasks.
