Senior Data Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our organization. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.

  • Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems.
  • Ensure that architectures support data analytics and prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
  • Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
  • Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Key Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years experience designing, planning, building, productionizing, maintaining, and documenting reliable and scalable data infrastructure and data products in complex environments using AWS services (Glue, Lambda, Redshift, S3).
  • Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Python, Scala, Java, C#) and scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Bash).
  • Familiarity with developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for data services, using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for environment deployment, and containerizing services where appropriate.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and the ability to automate data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processes using Python and SQL.
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed data systems and integrating data sources like Google Analytics, AppInsights, Power platform, and other data streams via API integrations.
  • Knowledge of all data lifecycle stages and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to lead initiatives through technical influence and possess a continuous learning and improvement mindset.
