Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Description

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a strong understanding of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Management: Analyze tender requirements, identify, manage, and mitigate risks in the commercial areas including currency risks, financial security instruments, terms of payment, insurance, export control customs, and compliance.
  • Quote Response: Ensure minimum Quote Response Time (QRT) and bring up if required.
  • Pricing and Delivery: On all quotes and orders review and verify pricing, margin, delivery time, delivery alternatives if required, expediting fees, etc.
  • Engineering Reviews: Initiate engineering reviews as needed by client requirements.
  • Order Management: Coordinate with engineering and operations to establish new drawings, drawing revisions and the use of alternate material.
  • Customer Support: Provide clients with basic product and technical support and inform client and bid managers about parts life cycle time, material characteristics, and manufacturing processes.
  • Sales Growth: Meet the parts selling growth targets as assigned yearly.
  • Financial Results: Handle financial results according to set targets and optimize gross profit and cash flow.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: To effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.

Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), experience with ERP software (Oracle, SAP, etc.) is highly desirable.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: To maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail when working towards tight deadlines.

Organizational and Time Management Skills: To prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Knowledge and Understanding of Our Products and Services: To provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
