Job Description:

As an IT Infrastructure Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and managing various systems, servers, and networks to support the company's technology needs. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and managing servers, networks, and systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.

Troubleshooting technical issues related to servers, networks, and software applications is also a key aspect of this role. You will implement security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access, viruses, and other threats. Regularly updating and patching systems with the latest security and software enhancements is essential. Additionally, you will manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels for proper security protocols.

Collaboration with vendors to recommend new hardware and software solutions that align with business needs is another critical responsibility. Creating and maintaining documentation on system configurations, processes, and procedures is also vital. Plan and perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure minimal downtime.

Providing technical support to end-users, addressing their IT-related inquiries and issues, is a key requirement. Staying updated with industry trends and best practices for enhancing IT infrastructure and security is crucial.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager or in a similar IT role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, cloud services, and networking protocols.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and system management.
  • Experience with system monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and end-users.
