Job Opportunity: Cloud Engineer

A remote cloud computing role is now available, working from home with an international team. The position involves a one-year renewable contract with working hours and public holidays aligned with Singapore standards.

The job offers flexibility in managing cloud infrastructure, resolving IT issues promptly, and implementing new technologies to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot AWS Technologies, ECS, EKS.
  • Operate System expertise in AWS Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Maintain, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure.
  • Resolve IT infrastructure issues promptly.
  • Handle project implementation proactively and support out-of-hours work when required.
  • Onboard new cloud technologies, challenge existing implementations professionally and constructively.
  • Engage in cloud security activities.
  • Comply with ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily IT infrastructure operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud or related fields is necessary for this position.
  • Knowledge of cloud security tools like Checkpoint, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS Detective.
  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer), or equivalent.

  • Operating Systems: Red Hat, AWS Linux
  • Build Tools/CIVirtual: AWS DevOps, Jenkins
  • Containers Environment: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS
  • Cloud Technologies: Amazon Web Services
  • Automation/Scripting Languages: Terraform, Ansible, Shell Scripting, Python
  • Databases: MySQL
  • Others: Ansible *

Professional Certifications:

  • Preferring certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA), Red Hat Certified Engineer or related Linux certifications, and relevant cloud security certificates.
