Senior Costing Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Costing Engineer to lead our panel costing activities in the Automation sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Siemens products, automation systems, electrical and instrumentation panels, and be able to provide expert technical guidance to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Panel Costing Management: Ensure accurate and timely final costing, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Automation Products Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Siemens products and automation systems (PLC, Drives, CNC, DCS, PCS), electrical and instrumentation panels.
  • Costing Leadership: Take ownership of costing tasks and deliverables while leading a team of engineers, providing regular progress updates to management.
  • Technical Discussions & Support: Conduct technical discussions with clients, internal teams, and vendors to finalize requirements, configurations, and costs.
  • Team Coordination & Reporting: Provide regular status reports to management regarding costing, progress, and potential issues.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in automation, electrical panels, and switchgear.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in panel costing and project costing.
  • Experience with PLC, Drives, DCS, PCS, and instrumentation panels.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation engineering.
  • 6-7 years of experience in panel and automation product costing.
