Electrical Design Lead Position

Delta Electronics is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Lead to join its team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of electrical design projects from conceptual stages to completion. They will also be responsible for designing product solutions based on customer requirements, providing technical and engineering support to internal and external customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans and timelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Design DC SMPS based Power Systems for telecom and industrial requirements.
  • Develop detailed design documents, including BOMs, GA drawings, and electrical drawings.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings and design calculations to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to implement process improvements and new products.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical design and project management.
  • B-Tech degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, electrical switchgear, cables, bus-bar sizing, mechanical designing, wire harness, product quality and safety norms, and testing of panels.
  • Strong project management skills, including cost/schedule/resource planning and control.
