Job Title:

Oracle EBS Finance Technical Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert technical support for Oracle Financials modules within the Oracle EBS R12.2.x environment.
  • Develop and maintain reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows (RICEW components) to drive business efficiency.
  • Design and implement customizations using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, and XML Publisher to meet specific business needs.
  • Analyze and validate data during implementation or upgrade phases to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Collaborate closely with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Participate in upgrades, patches, and testing activities to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across technical layers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including MD050, MD070, TE040, CV040, etc.
  • Coordinate with other teams, business users, and vendors to achieve project goals.
  • Identify and escalate risks/issues promptly.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a technical consultant in Oracle EBS Finance.
  • Hands-on expertise in Oracle R12 (preferably 12.2.x) Finance modules: GL, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, I-expense, I-receivables, I-Suppliers, Purchasing, Project Accounting, Cash Management, EBTax, Subledger Accounting (SLA).
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
  • Experience with Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, and OAF (Oracle Application Framework) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with integration tools like Oracle SOA Suite, Web Services, or APIs.
  • Knowledge of AIM/OUM methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP to Oracle R12 migration would be advantageous.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexibility to work in an IST shift.
