Beauty Devices Innovations Manager Role

This position requires a skilled professional to lead the development of beauty devices and accessories. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware new product development for small appliances, consumer electronics, and beauty devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive innovation strategies for beauty devices and accessories, aligning with industry design-led, system-integrated roadmaps.
  • Define problem statements, user requirements, and success metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive concept to EVT/DVT/PVT, manage tooling, tolerances, materials, and reliability testing.
  • Evaluate motor/heat/airflow modules, power electronics, and safety features.
  • Identify and qualify OEM/ODM/component suppliers, negotiate MOQs, and build cost models.
  • Plan test protocols and documentation for compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Partner with Industrial Designers to ensure ergonomics, acoustic comfort, thermals, and serviceability.
  • Pilot builds, line setup, SOPs, spares/after-sales, user manuals, and risk registers.
  • Track field performance, NPS/reviews, failure modes, and drive rapid revs and quality improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of experience in hardware NPD for small appliances/consumer electronics/beauty devices.
  • Proven DFM/DFX, basic EE/ME literacy (PCBA, plastics, metals, silicone), tooling, and reliability testing.
  • Strong vendor management skills, hands-on with RFQs, BOMs, PPAP/FAT.
  • Familiarity with Indian and global compliance pathways for consumer devices.
  • Tools: CAD (SolidWorks/Creo), basic FEA/CFD interpretation, Jira/PLM, Excel for cost modeling.
