Transition Manager

The Transition Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless project execution from initiation to closure. This individual is responsible for managing active transitions, serving as the customer's single point of contact (SPOC) for inquiries and updates, and supporting projects as the first escalation point for internal and customer issues.

  • Manage multiple transitions simultaneously.
  • Be the primary liaison between the customer and internal teams.
  • Support project progression by addressing internal and customer-related concerns.

This role requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a keen ability to understand strategic business objectives and facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables. The Transition Manager must also possess strong analytical skills to identify areas for process improvement and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive governance calls and meetings for internal and customer updates.
  • Plan, conduct, and manage relevant trainings for the transitions team.
  • Participate in assessments to gauge training needs.
  • Develop detailed project charters, plans, and transition plans based on solution complexity, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Cultivate partnerships with customers to provide distinct advantages through efficient IT and operations management.
  • Optimize transition methodologies to reduce time, costs, risks, and improve quality.
  • Maintain comprehensive risk management practices, including business continuity planning.
Requirements:
  • Graduate/Post Graduate degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in BPO/BPM or similar field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT transitions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
