This role contributes to the Electrification business division, specifically supporting the Smart Power unit in Hyderabad, India. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and executing routine tests for different products according to standard testing methodologies and requirements.


Key responsibilities:


  • Support sample preparation and execution of tests for Low voltage switchgear products, in coordination with project teams from Global R&D and manufacturing plants.
  • Provide test reports according to applicable standards and support root cause analysis and corrective actions for any failures observed during testing.
  • Travel and coordinate with internal and external labs for developmental and certification testing.
  • Maintain equipment and tools used by the laboratory, design and develop jigs and fixtures required for testing, and follow NABL process of ISO: 17025 standards.
  • Ensure adherence to HSSE norms, including PPE, LOTO, material storage, and handling, and maintain housekeeping in lab areas.

Requirements:


  • Minimum qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in design and testing of Low voltage switch Gear products, circuit breakers, contactors.
  • Good knowledge of IEC & UL Standard and Regulatory requirements for Low voltage switchgear products.
  • Experience conducting electrical testing on Low voltage switch gears and control products, with a strong understanding of safety requirements while operating electrical devices.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical test setups and good verbal and written communication skills.
