Project Lead Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Lead to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, building, configuring, commissioning, and maintaining projects.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale, complex application development, implementation, and upgrade projects.
  • Develop project roadmaps and collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, QA engineers, business analysts, and external vendors.
  • Ensure timely delivery, within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Utilize Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies, depending on project requirements, to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks by managing project issues and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Track and report on project performance using project management tools and KPIs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, including mentoring and training junior project managers and team members.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to provide regular updates, escalate issues as necessary, and manage expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with project management best practices, IT governance, data security, and change management processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure user adoption, training, and smooth handover of applications.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, requirements, design specs, and post-project reviews.
