Job Title: ITSM Platform Lead

Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the implementation and management of ServiceNow’s IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of ITSM processes, ServiceNow architecture, and hands-on experience in implementing core ITSM modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Leadership & Strategy
    • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for ITSM platform growth and optimization.
    • Lead technical teams in designing and deploying scalable, efficient, and secure ITSM solutions.
  • Custom Development & Integration
    • Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using ServiceNow’s application development platform.
    • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using APIs, integrations, and workflow automation.
  • Team Management & Governance
    • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
    • Establish and enforce technical standards, code reviews, and data model integrity.
  • Platform Optimization & Support
    • Monitor and resolve performance and security issues.
    • Optimize workflows, reports, and dashboards for improved user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in ITSM implementation and management with 3+ years as a technical lead or senior developer.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules, scripting languages, Glide APIs, and custom app development.
  • Solid understanding of data models, ACLs, and role-based access control.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Update Sets, Application Repository, and ATF is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM
  • ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
