Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in designing and developing HVAC systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting heat load calculations using specialized tools to determine heating and cooling requirements
  • Designing and implementing HVAC systems including water-cooled and air-cooled chiller plants, VRF systems, and DX systems
  • Selecting equipment based on project specifications and calculating ventilation requirements
  • Collaborating with other disciplines and applying knowledge of international codes and standards
  • Planning and designing HVAC systems considering energy efficiency and sustainability
  • Preparing design reports, specifications, and BOQ for HVAC systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; specialized coursework or certification in HVAC systems is advantageous
  • Proven experience in HVAC system design, heat load calculations, equipment selection, and system optimization
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and refrigeration cycles
  • Familiarity with a variety of HVAC equipment, controls, and components
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
