Administrative Assistant with HR Focus

About the Role:
We're seeking an HR & Admin Manager to lead the setup of our new Mumbai office. This role will play a key part in shaping the office culture and managing day-to-day HR and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Setup: Coordinate the setup of the new office, including infrastructure, furniture, utilities, and vendor management.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in recruitment efforts, manage onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and promote employee engagement initiatives to create a positive workplace culture.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health and safety standards, prepare and submit HR and administrative reports as required by management.
- General Support: Manage travel and accommodation arrangements, plan and execute office events, meetings, and workshops, handle ad-hoc administrative and HR tasks.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and statutory compliance in India, with excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently. A Masters or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in administrative and HR roles, preferably in office setups or startups, is required.
