Research Project Manager Role

Role and Responsibilities:

The Research Project Manager will be the key liaison between clients and research teams. This role encompasses project ownership from initial client needs identification to design creation, smooth execution, thorough analysis, and delivery of actionable insights that positively impact business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand their business challenges and convert them into effective research plans.
  • Develop proposals and oversee projects from start to finish.
  • Mentor junior researchers, providing guidance and support for growth and success.
  • Review and validate questionnaires and survey designs to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Delve into data to uncover meaningful insights and craft compelling stories for clients.
  • Present reports and deliver presentations that inspire informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Client Success teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Master's or MBA degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in quantitative market research.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and produce clear, structured reports.
  • Leadership skills to guide junior researchers and maintain project momentum.
  • Analytical thinking abilities to transform data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications.
  • A proactive mindset focused on finding solutions rather than waiting for problems to arise.
