Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design and build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. The role involves working closely with development, DevOps, SRE, and security teams to enable efficient delivery of applications and services while ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Databases, Identity, Security, AKS, etc.) and proficiency in Bicep, Terraform or ARM templates. Strong skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python are also required. Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD and knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics are preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Azure-based compute offerings based on industry best practices. This includes managing subscriptions, resource groups, and resources following our product architecture standards. Automating provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Bicep is a key aspect of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement Azure-based Compute Offerings: Design and build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure.
  • Manage Subscriptions and Resources: Manage subscriptions, resource groups, and resources following our product architecture standards.
  • Automate Provisioning and Configuration: Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Bicep.
Requirements:
  • Azure Services Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Databases, Identity, Security, AKS, etc.).
  • Bicep, Terraform or ARM Templates: Proficiency in Bicep, Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Scripting Skills: Strong skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • CI/CD Tools: Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
  • Azure Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
Preferred Skills:
  • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Solutions Architect Expert / DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Hybrid or Multi-cloud Environments: Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • FinOps Practices: Exposure to FinOps practices (Azure Cost Management & Optimization).
  • SaaS-based Product Environments: Background in SaaS-based product environments.
