Backend Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, low-latency backend services and APIs.

In this role, you will own system design, high-level architecture, data modeling, capacity, and reliability. You will also develop microservices with Spring Boot and integrate with internal/external APIs.

You will write clean, tested code using JUnit/Mockito and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will optimize performance, observability (logs/metrics/tracing), and security.

You will collaborate with Product/DevOps teams for releases and incident response.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Expertise in Java 11+ and Spring Boot
  • Strong system design skills, including scalability, caching, partitioning, and fault tolerance
  • Experience with datastores such as SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB/Redis)
  • Messaging/streaming experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Cloud and container experience with AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), and API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger)
  • Solid DSA/problem-solving and debugging skills
